Tendresse Féline

I think I promised an action picture of Tendresse Féline. Styles with the patterned dress and also (due the drop in temperature) with a short sleeved black fitted jacket.

I thoroughly enjoyed wearing this out to lunch but would have preferred to slip into something a bit more summery. On a practical note, the Stylo riding boots were the most appropriate footwear with it, keeping feet and legs dry. The ballerinas travelled in my handbag...

  1. Gasping , this is PERFECTION in cashmere form , and it will look divine with more or less anything especially jeans and riding boots [ thinking of my Winter uniform!]

I know it didn't glow like this on me , but I think I'd be prepared to apply an inch of makeup to be able to wear this ....

Torrential rain again, and we shan't go to the outdoor concert at Kew Gardens planned for tonight [ thank goodness the tickets were freebies] All that soggy grass , and freezing cold.

    1. So glad you like it! It does wear like a dream and as you pointed out will be so useful with a casual look as well. Yes, jeans and riding boots it is for me as well for much of the colder season. If this colouration does not work for you, maybe some of the other colourways will be better?

FWIW, black is not a great colour on me but the neutrals sort of soften the black quite a bit, so I find this shawl not draining at all on me. Just a thought?

Shame about Kew! I have now installed a giant bucket in my yard, so I can dunk my tools at the end of each working day and clean them up proper, never needed to so that in summer before.

  2. Yes ! I wated for your pics !!! Thank you so much Bienchen. This shawl is perfect as Estrella says. Beautiful balance of white/gold/black… Especially it works amazingly with your B&W dress. Breathtaiking!

  3. Thank you, Iris. It only works because it is a creamy grey rather than white, same as the dress. Black and white is tricky with my skin tone, best avoided.

    1. Scarfmoodist, I have been waiting for an action picture of yours ever since you told me you were my twin. Will you pair it with jeans or go all dressy?

Either way, I hope your special occasion presents itself soon; this shawl is too stunning to languish in its box.

    2. I want to pair it with a Chanel-like jacket by Zapa (from SS 2012 collection) and a white pair of jeans. But I plan to wear it also with my beige dresses as a stole for chilly evenings this summer (I am waiting of wearing my dresses... :-)). And of course, next fall with a black tuxedo jacket or a black dress.
